Now operating under Colorado Outfitters license #2500, Ron has set out to introduce a relatively under appreciated aspect of fly fishing here in Colorado -- Winter Time angling.

Noting that the unique terrain of the Pueblo Plain sandwiched between Pikes Peak and the Wet Mountains produces warmer than normal temperatures as compared to the conditions prevailing to the North and South of this area, coupled with recent changes made to the stream bed of the Arkansas River below the Pueblo Reservoir has resulted in a champion grade trout population that can be pursued all winter long -- Ron has set out to introduce this opportunity to fly fishing enthusiasts everywhere.



Ben Olson has been a licensed fly fishing and rafting guide in Colorado for the last two years. Ben has guided anglers and rafters alike in and around the Ridgeway Colorado area, and in the Gunnison Gorge of the Black Canyon near Montrose Colorado. Additionally, Ben has served as the past president of the Gunnison Gorge Angler's of Trout Unlimited and the Federation of Fly Fishers.

Ben's outstanding knowledge of fly fishing techniques and equipment makes him a welcome addition to Colorado Fly Fishing Services. Ben's skill and indomitable "Can Do" spirit will make your outing with him as your guide a trip to remember for years to come.

Ben has developed an in-depth knowledge and understanding for local entomology, making him one of the premier fly tiers in the area. Ben will be holding classes in the basics of fly tying at the Angler's Addiction shop here at 14th and Main in Pueblo. This is a 'don't miss' program, as Ben's style and approach will have you tying your own flies in no time.



Lou McCullough retired from military service several years ago and decided to take up fly fishing -- a sport he had long practiced and drawn much pleasure from. Lou has been a licensed fishing guide in Colorado for two years and has a great deal of experience fishing the tail waters of the Pueblo Reservoir, as well as numerous other locations here in the Pikes Peak Region of the Southern Rockies.

Lou has developed a reputation as a professional minded, but congenial guide. Many of Lou's past clients seek him out when they are looking for a good weekend of fishing.
